The #1 Spanish exchange has started this integration by allowing deposits and withdrawals for the 10 most relevant tokens, such as wETH, MATIC, USDT or B2M, and will add such functionality to the rest of their more than 100 available tokens.
Bit2Me announces the launch of the Polygon blockchain integration for Bit2Me Wallet, a scalability solution for Ethereum that will bring new and exciting advantages for its users. Thanks to the high versatility of the network- and specially its minimal transaction fees, it allows their users to send funds and enjoy products such as Bit2Me Earn or Bit2Me Launchpad.
From now on, Bit2Me users will be able to deposit and withdraw AAVE, DAI, BLOK, LINK, MATIC, SUSHI, USDC, USDT, wETH, and B2M via the Polygon Network, and in the coming weeks they will be adding the mentioned functionality to the rest of the available tokens.
Polygon is a scalability project that enables decentralized apps to run on a blockchain with much lower fees, faster speed, and better interoperability compared to the Ethereum network. The Polygon network uses Proof-of-Stake for its sidechain and Plasma smart contracts for the sidechain’s link to the Ethereum mainnet. Its infrastructure allows for greater network scalability and a much lower cost per transaction, enabling them to reach the top 15 of public blockchain protocols with an average of 3.4 million transactions per day (May ’22).
By implementing this new integration into the Bit2Me wallet, users will have an alternative solution to the currently overloaded Ethereum network. It will be an excellent opportunity for Bit2Me to attract new users to start using the suite’s services, and an access gate to their users to a continuously growing ecosystem of web3 projects and dapps.
For Bit2Me users, this integration brings the possibility to deposit via the Polygon network for lower costs and take advantage of services such as Bit2Me Earn, where anyone can obtain up to 20% APY, or Bit2Me Launchpad, where users can participate in one of the most relevant token launchpad of IDOs.
Bit2Me’s goal is to implement easy solutions to reduce time, effort and high fees for its users to further drive crypto adoption, so Polygon’s integration is a natural step in that roadmap. Bit2Me has over 450,000 users in over 100 countries, and in 2021 reached a volume of €1.1 billion. Their plan is to continue expanding, especially in LATAM.
With this integration, Bit2Me users can now begin to transfer the top 10 crypto assets ,and over the next month they will be able to deposit and withdraw the rest of the more than 100 supported tokens.
It is also worth noting that Bit2Me has chosen Polygon as their first commit chain integration, before the rest of the blockchains that will be integrated after Polygon, as it is one of the most demanded features by our B2M Holders community.
In the coming months, Bit2Me also has Bit2Me DeFi planned in its roadmap as a new self-custodial wallet that will have Polygon and many of the Web3 dapps integrated by default.
