BNB Chain Accelerator Announces 27 Web3 Startups as Winners
Web3 accelerator program, “Most Valuable Builder” announced 27 winners for its fifth cohort
BNB Chain has announced 27 startups who emerged as winners from its Web3 accelerator program, MVB. Seven outstanding projects will receive investment from Binance Labs, which co-leads the initiative with BNB Chain.
The startups that emerged from the program were across DeFi, Music & NFTs, Gaming & Metaverse, Infra & Tooling, Security, and more.
During MVB V, the Labs team provided 10+ dedicated mentorship sessions with industry veterans and experienced founders, where product innovation design, community management and user growth, infrastructure scaling, and security, investment advice, etc. were among the topics that were covered.

About Pyth Network
Pyth network is is a first-party financial oracle solution designed to publish continuous real-world data on-chain in a tamper-resistant, decentralized, and self-sustainable environment. The network incentivizes market participants — exchanges, market makers, and financial services providers — to share the price data collected as part of their existing operations.
How Does Pyth Work on BNB Chain and Binance Sidechains?
Pyth prices are published and aggregated on Pythnet and then relayed to the BNB Chain and Binance Sidechains using the Wormhole Network as a cross-chain message passing protocol. Wormhole observes when Pyth prices on Pythnet have changed and publishes an off-chain signed message attesting to this fact.

Zero-Knowledge Rollups (zkRollups): A New Dawn on BNB Chain
About zkRollups
zkRollups are similar to optimistic rollups in that they bundle hundreds of Layer-2 transactions that were executed off-chain and submit them as one transaction onto the Layer-1. However, instead of assuming transactions to be valid unless challenged, zkRollups use validity proofs to instantly prove a transaction’s validity.
How zkRollups work?
ZkRollups is an application of zero-knowledge proofs (ZKPs) to board games. ZKPs are a mechanism to prove that you know something without revealing what that something is. For example, one can prove that they have the solution without actually revealing the solution by sending a screenshot of their final board.
They work by bundling hundreds of transactions processed off-chain into one transaction that then gets posted on the Layer-1. This single transaction takes the form of a validity proof, which can be either a ZKSNARK or ZK-STARK type. Validity proofs prevent fraud without manual intervention or verification like fraud proofs.
