Q1: Now to start the AMA, team Degen Lizzy please have a quick introduction to the community. What is Degen Lizzy all about?
Master Lizzy: Hailing from the wild wild west, Degen Lizzy is a collection of 10000 distinct moods of a chameleon, who is looking for his rightful partner to take on his next mission. Built on Solana Blockchain obviously for scalability, speed and of course future proof. We are probably the only NFT project with a cause. Our cause is to fight against the extinction of beautiful Chameleons.
Q2: Please share with us the background of the team behind this project. What are your past experiences?
Master Lizzy: Sure, So the team is diverse. We have experienced artists who worked tirelessly developing the main character and the attributes one by one. All the arts were hand-drawn which makes it unique. Then we also have veterans in blockchain space with over 5+ years of experience in marketing and more specific development.
Q3: Each project has interesting stories before it is created. So how did you guys decide to create Degen Lizzy?
Master Lizzy: Sure. As you are aware, Chameleons were here on earth since a long long time back. However, the deforestation, human activities and environmental change have caused most Chameleon types to be on the verge of extinction. Our purpose is to raise awareness of this through NFTs. As you know NFTs are a great way to get the attention the cause needs to attract. Furthermore, we will be donating a portion of our sale, directly to Chameleon Conservation activities such as BINCO.
This is our purpose to launch Degen Lizzy and the distinct moods showcase its ability to adapt and fight against the extinction.
Q4: Very interesting, kindly let us know how will the Degen Lizzy be launched?
Master Lizzy: Yes. So, each NFT will be unique and different. Some attributes will be rarer than others. So our rarity matrix is matched to their skin types and their level of the verge of extinction. So these NFTs will have a literal meaning to rarity too, I mean they will not be just a buzzword. Let me share a really really rare NFT as well as a real-life Chameleon.
So this guy, is really an endangered Chameleon and so will be the rarity of our NFT. There will be more cases like this in our collection.
The sale will be done in 2 phases, Pre Sale and Main Sale. I will share more details about this at the end.
So, the sale will be done on our website where users will be able to mint them randomly. We have plans to list them after the sale on a reputed NFT marketplace.
Q5: How much does one Degen Lizzy cost? Are there any pre-sale that the Solana.Daily community can attend?
Master Lizzy: Of course, As SOL was mooning, we had brought down the sale price as well. We didn’t want them to be too expensive.
Q6: Where can the community buy Degen Lizzy if they miss the pre-sale?
Master Lizzy: I bet no one would want to miss out on the pre-sale because of the discount. Unfortunately, we have to restrict the number of participants due to high demand. If by any chance the presale is missed, then the main sale can be attempted. If it is missed, then we are already in talks with reputed listing sites to list our collection and they can be bought there. However, the price will be higher with that option.
Q7: What can we expect on your roadmap in the next 3 months?
Master Lizzy: Yes. This is very important. The fact that a lot of NFTs recently give up their project after raising money. We are here for the long term and have a clear vision. Our roadmap includes below.
⚡️ Listing the different moods of the Degen Lizzy on the best secondary markets
⚡️ Launch custom Degen Lizzy Merchandise. Again the proceeds will go to charity
⚡️ Launch new missions, partner with other projects and surprise drops for the holders.
⚡️ Develop super rare AR Degen Lizzy moods.
⚡️ Community DAO to strategize the action plan for next missions in line.
⚡️ Contribute to the conservation of lizards facing the risk of extinction.
More importantly, holders will be rewarded with special drops later on. I can only disclose that much at the moment as I am not supposed to spill them what they are
