Scroll Mainnet Goes Live
Scroll has officially launched on its mainnet and is now open to all users. People can bridge assets from the Ethereum mainnet to the Scroll mainnet using its native bridge. Several other bridges from projects like Orbiter Finance, Rhino.fi, and Owlto Finance have also added support for transferring to the Scroll mainnet.
Initial applications launched on Scroll include SpaceFi, Syncswap, and Tally. Scroll offers compatibility at the bytecode level, allowing developers to easily port their Ethereum dapps over without needing to modify their code.
zkSync Introduces Hybrid Exchange GRVT, The First Hyperchain
zkSync announced the first appchain that will launch as a Hyperchain on the ZK Stack. This will be a hybrid derivatives exchange called GRVT.
A Hyperchain is a custom rollup or Validium built on the ZK Stack that provides ZK-powered scaling. Hyperchains can connect with other decentralized applications within the larger zkSync ecosystem. For more details, visit here.
Base Announces Bootcamp Program
Base has launched Base Bootcamp, a two-month program to train developers to build onchain applications. The program offers mentorship, access to Base and Coinbase engineers, a private Discord channel, and comprehensive learning resources.
Accepted applicants will work on building real-world decentralized applications (dapps) on Ethereum and Base. Developers can apply to the program now through October 27th.
