Ethereum & Layer-2s On-chain Data Highlights
Aptos made the official announcement that they will be conducting an airdrop for its users just the week before last. As a result, the entire community has started talking more about the Airdrop Season that is now taking place in the Ethereum ecosystem, in particular about Layer2s.
In addition, zkSync (ZK Rollups) is getting ready to launch Baby Mainnet Alpha on October 28, which is leading both Layer2s to grow rapidly, particularly in terms of the Total Value Locked and Transactions in the past 7 days.

Blur’s Ethereum NFT Marketplace goes live
Blur has announced that Blur is now LIVE! To celebrate our launch they’re airdropping Care Packages containing $BLUR tokens to everyone who’s stuck around in the bear market.
Blur’s marketplace goes live today and the Blur marketplace itself charges zero marketplace fees. In short, our marketplace, aggregator, and advanced trading tools are available to everyone at zero cost!
Blur will be majority-owned by the community. To kick things off we’re airdropping Care Packages containing $BLUR tokens to everyone who’s continued trading NFTs these last 6 months.
Optimism introduces the OP Stack
Optimism made the OP Stack, which is a group of modular parts that can be put together to make custom blockchains. Each part of the stack implements a certain layer. Developers can change modules that already exist or make modules from scratch to fit any use case. op-chains are custom chains that are made with the stack..
This is the first time Optimism has used L3s. Chains that share a sequencer can open up cross-chain composability, which makes it possible for atoms to interact with each other. The Superchain is what Optimism calls the combination of op-chains with shared sequencing and message layers. Optimism also plans to put out an update for Bedrock in the next few months.

zkSync has successfully completed Milestone 3: Proof Merging
zkSync have successfully completed Milestone 3: Proof Merging. With the integration of validity proofs, zkSync 2.0 is now officially a fully working end-to-end zkEVM running on a public testnet.
This is not only a major achievement for zkSync, but for the entire Ethereum community, made possible by the support of our ecosystem and the tireless dedication of their team. This is the final and necessary step before they launch on Mainnet in 11 days.
The launch of zkSync’s Layer 2 solution on Mainnet — a general purpose, EVM-compatible, ZK-rollup for the Ethereum blockchain — will be a long-awaited and critical improvement for Ethereum
