Developers worldwide are being invited to participate in the BNB Chain Zero2Hero Hackathon, with registration now open. The hackathon presents an exciting opportunity for developers to work together to create innovative dApps and Web3 solutions, driving forward the blockchain industry.
Registration and Tracks Info
The registration period runs from March 6 to April 16, with the hackathon itself taking place from April 17 to May 14. Participants can choose to compete individually or as part of a team, and there are seven different tracks to choose from, including DeFi, Infra & Scalability, SocialFi, Cross-chain, NFT, Gamify & Metaverse, Greenfield, and Innovation.
BNB Chain’s Hackathon Offers Generous Prizes and Support for Participants
Participants will receive support from BNB Chain through workshops, staff office hours, and AMAs. There are also generous prizes on offer, with first, second, and third-place winners in each track receiving cash prizes of $15K, $6K, and $4K respectively. First-place winners in each track will also be automatically accepted into the Zero2Hero Incubator program, where they will receive training in Web3 marketing, tokenomics design, community building, and more.
Sponsors will provide cash bounties throughout the hackathon for a range of areas, including cloud applications, rollups, NFTs, derivatives, synthetic assets, decentralized computation, yield farming, Web3 Gaming, and DAOs. Participants will need to meet strict judging criteria, with full MVPs launched on the BNB Chain Testnet being heavily weighted. However, clean and creative implementations of a feature on an existing BNB Chain Dapp will also be considered.
The BNB Chain Zero2Hero Hackathon is powered by Encode Club and has partnered with leading companies to provide tech support to participants. These include Chainlink Labs as the official oracle partner, Automata Network as the official privacy partner, Nodereal as the official node provider, Tea as the official dev tool, Hacken as the official security partner, and RSS3 as the official on-chain and off-chain social content aggregator. PolyhedraZK is the official infrastructure provider, and Axelar, Port3, and Polyhedra are supporting the cross-chain, SocialFi, and Infra & Scalability tracks, respectively.
