The statistics provided by Similarweb, which said that ChatGPT was used on average by around 13 million unique visitors daily in January, served to support the aforementioned allegation. According to reports, the number of users has increased by a factor of two since December. UBS added that they could not think of a consumer internet app that had a faster ramp than ChatGPT in the 20 years since the invention of the internet.
According to a different report, in just seven days, ChaptGPT was able to add more than a million new members. The chatbot’s co-founder, Greg Brockman, announced and acknowledged this accomplishment on Twitter. With the level of success it is now experiencing, ChatGPT is predicted to generate over $200 million in revenue in 2023 and up to $1 billion in 2024.
