Blast Introduces Native Yield L2
Blast has unveiled its groundbreaking EVM-compatible optimistic rollup, introducing a revolutionary native yield mechanism.
ETH bridged to the rollup is seamlessly staked on Ethereum, while bridged stablecoins are strategically deposited into prominent DeFi protocols like MakerDAO. The accrued yield is then equitably distributed among users and dapps operating on the Blast L2 rollup.
Additionally, Blast has announced an enticing early adopter airdrop program. Users can accumulate Blast Points based on the quantity of ETH they bridge into Blast. However, funds will remain locked until the network’s official mainnet launch scheduled for February 2024.
PYTH Airdrop Goes Live
Pyth Network, an oracle provider for off-chain price feeds, has distributed its PYTH retroactive token airdrop. Eligible users can now claim their PYTH governance tokens until February 18, 2024. The current trading price of PYTH is approximately $0.30. PYTH tokens can be staked to gain voting power. For more details, visit here.
