Starknet has announced via a tweet that they have upgraded to version 0.12.1 on the Goerli testnet on August 7. Starknet v0.12.1 will address the issue of sequencer resources being allocated to processing transactions that do not contribute to the final block.

Through the inclusion of failed transactions in a block and charging a fee for them, Starknet will optimize its processing potential for valid transactions. V0.12.1 will also be available on mainnet soon.
